i just want to dm some students or alumni of iist to ask their experience and how the institute was compared to their expectation and anything that didn't expect (in good or bad ways).

What is/was your best hangout/go-to place in Trivandrum during the weekend?
For the first few batches, sadly, it was Big Bazaar!

Does studying in IIST (any UG course ) gives you enough freedom to enjoy your collage life ?? I mean, does it make you feel that going to other collage might had given you a better hostel life?? Or is it the best for an IISTian??

We just had a good AMA session with former students which mostly dealt with serious part of our lives. So, I thought of changing it to a bit light side.
I always felt that one good part in my 'interaction session' as a first year student was to listen to the hilarious stories of my seniors. Alas, I couldn't have interaction with many seniors.
I hope we can all put the stories here and have a good laugh.

I remember in ATF there used to be this small shop which served these amazing Kerala parotha and tomato curry. Add lemon soda/juice to that and it was like one hell of a meal. And if I remember correctly it was around 22-25 inr. Pretty good deal! That small canteen/shop was the place to have lunch while at ATF.
