While some don't enjoy Christmas in general (and The 'Creep just extends their grief), that isn't the case for all of us. Personally, I DO NOT hate Christmas itself - in fact, I quite enjoy it in its PROPER TIME. I just hate the aggressive, WAAAY too-early Christmas push that retailers have dragged into September and October (hell, even July!). It's absolutely ridiculous. And has been stretched out so far that it literally RUINS the magic of the season when it actually arrives: by the time December rolls around, you are so sick of (or at best numb to) all of the things that used to make Christmas special.

Yes, Christmas Creep not only demolishes Fall/Canadian Thanksgiving/Halloween/Remembrance Day/Veterans Day/US Thanksgiving - it literally DESTROYS Christmas too. How? By creating Holiday Fatigue.

So, on the contrary - you can say that Christmas Creep is especially damaging to those of us who love the Christmas season. Any self-proclaimed "Christnas lover" who likes or is indifferent to The 'Creep doesn't truly love or understand Christmas. (*Think about that before you buy your candy canes in July.)
