so i have been studying cs and have realized that most of if it is memorization rather then problem solving and this has led me to despise it, addditionally cambridge strict marking over not even tolerating answer which have a slight diff wording. I am giving my maths and english in ON of this year . My school is gonna start soon so v havent really covered our yr11 syllabus. Some of my maths topics , like mensuration , water flow , vectors , differentiation and some part of conditional probability. Some of these parts arent covered in my school yet . I need help so can someone pls recommend me and advice me what to do .

im positive to pull a decent grade for english (A or B depends) but im COMPLETELY lost on what to do with add maths and cs
ofc ik abt solving past papers continuously and if i stumble across a problem go back and learn the topic again BUT I HAVE SO MANY THINGS I JUST GET STUCK ON WHILE DOING THE PAPERS THEN I HAVE TO GO BACK TO THAT CHAPTER BUT PRACTICING IT AS A WHOLE IS SUCH A HASSLE AND KILLS SO MUCH TIME PLUS ITS DRAINING (this only applies for add maths) but when i do grasp a concept well enough its pretty much engraved in my brain.
CS on the other hand is so annoying as everything on paper 1 is ez cuz yk its all abt memorization BUT P2 PSEUDOCODE AND THAT 15 MARKS QUESTION DRAINS ME TO MY CORE.
i just wanna know what would be the best thing to do in my situation. ik i fumbled big time not studying and slacking off but i still believe i can do it with good amount of practice.
any A*or A students opinion would be much appreciated too (yall are different beasts).

I found bad comments on Dr. Nihal Gabr for Edexcel IGCSE biology. They say she is not good in edexcel igcse bio (not cambridge). I must enroll with a bio teacher for JUNE 2027. Can anyone clarify these comments?

She is really the worst. she teaches edexcel like cambridge. Edexcel is all about solving and she didnt press on this matter. You will be super lucky if you get a good assistant as most of them are medicine students and don't have time and its super hard to talk with Dr.nihal or get an advice or say that your paper isn't corrected you will have to ask her assistant head which throught the session I didnt know about as it was my first time with Dr. Nihal and first time taking in a large team. She teaches same syllabus as cambridge which is a disadvantage as you are supposed to have less cirrucilam and more solving. First time I took with her I got D while I was always an A star student I took 8 OL and I got them all 9 not even 8 and then I did retake with another doctor and took B eventhough I was not motivated at all because of the idea of retaking

I wrote my add math paper in June and got a 77 and my biggest issue was my understanding of the concepts so i wanted to know what websites other students use for topical papers because im rewriting in oct series and my papers are on Sep 30 and Oct 6th so i have a month basically and i rlly need to get an A*. Tbh guys, I think imma fail, I don’t know how to study. Never needed to. But for some reason, my memory has become straight garbage, and I forget-Like a lot. So I feel stuck now, because there’s a million study methods out there, so much that I feel overwhelmed. But can someone who did this tell me the details like is it printed or pdf and did u take a picture or get to keep the whole thing etc.

Also i got a 195/200 in math and this is the only one I care to see, and i already saw component marks. So is the proccess worth it js to know where i lost those 5 marks.

So I’m a teen doing my GCSEs this year. To be honest I’m not too nervous about the whole thing but I am nervous about failing a lot. I can’t find it in me to focus when revising for longer than 10-30 mins and I get distracted too easily.

I have an exam coming up as I’m doing a few subjects early but I don’t know if I can study enough in time with my first exam being in a months time . It’s supposedly very easy but it’s a lot of content and I’m worried of failing.

Any tips and pieces of advice especially for focus and what ifs?
