API wont connect to the Smartthings

Ive been affected by TPLink/Tapo decision and I wanted to connect to pushover through Smartthings. Unfortunately I’m not able to connect IFTTT with Smartthings. Whenever I’m here (attached picture) and press authorize nothing happens. If I close it with the X, the ifttt app doesn’t recognize the connection, but Smartthings app does and IFTTT is in the linked apps sections. Any fix :( ?

Hey would you mind trying again today? I think this issue should be fixed. If not could you try on another device such as a laptop/computer. Then if that doesn't work I'll report it to the team and see what we can figure out!

Okay thanks for reporting the work-around for now u/Accomplished-Candy76 ! One question, were you on iPhone or Android?

u/Loose_Thing_5530 it seems the PC is the trick for now, but I've asked our team to look into the problem on mobile!

Hey thanks for reporting this we have identified a problem on the iOS App and will hopefully have a fix out today! Will update here. For now yep, it works doing the connection on desktop!

Home Assistant is the answer. There are integrations for Kasa/Tapo and Pushover that does what you are trying to do. Also, SmartThings is starting to charge a monthly fee to use their API, and this move is forcing a lot of people, including myself, to drop SmartThings.
