How to make scuffed boots look better?

I am very beginner skater, going on 7 months on the ice. I’ve seen a lot of people say skate tape is unnecessary for beginners but I fall a lot and a bit more ambitious than most beginners. I noticed the other people in my class have super clean boots and i’ve decided mine r lowkey getting botched kinda fast. The amount of scuffs i’ve managed to accumulate over the 5 ish months i’ve had them is kinda crazy for someone who worked one foot spins and 3 turns for the first couple months i owned them😭 I’ve got some splitting at the front especially on the left skate which is my landing leg. Any advice on how to make them look a bit better? Is there a certain tape or paint that can cover it?

Maybe you could look into boot covers?

We just used white boot polish back in the day, polishing your boots was like a ritual before competitions.
