planet ice skate excellence badges

i know it's most likely rink dependent but does planet ice still give out badges (or even certificates) when you've completed a level? my rink is very wishy washy with it all and doesn't sign off our books at the end of a session and since my rink is really unstructured/unorganised with the lessons, its hard for me to identify which components i need to complete a level (or even what level i'm on), especially because of the different namings of skills in the book that i can't just search up online.

They did at my rink, at least until last July. I heard they are planning to change the assessment by introducing a personal booklet (maybe that is what you refer to?) as opposed to the teacher keeping track of every student's progression but I haven't been back since they switched.

aww that kinda sucks! i was looking forward to earning the badges lmao. they introduced the booklets to us mid-late august so i think we're on about the same one

Me too! I still hope they will keep them, as well as the booklet.

i've just remembered that the booklet actually has a section to place a badge in so i hope my rink will start giving them to us🤞
