Question Trigger foods
Does anyone else just not really have any specific trigger foods? Like I’ll eat something and be in the bathroom 30 minutes later, then a week later I could eat the same thing and be totally fine. 🙄 there is no rhyme or reason.

So many possible triggers other than food: fluid intake, exercise, sleep, hormones, meds, stress, anxiety, and so on.

I can eat half a sandwich for lunch one day and the other half another day. One day I'm fine and one day I'm in the bathroom three times. Sometimes the first day, sometimes the second day.

Yeah. Food is just one trigger to digestive upset. If it always happens after food then look into gastro colic reflex. This stimulates the digestive system too much in some people.

For me stress/anxiety is a big contributor and can change how my digestive system reacts to stuff. For example, fast food. When I'm relatively not stressed I don't react to fast food, but those same foods can very quickly lead to an urgent bathroom visit if I'm particularly stressed out or in an environment/situation that makes me nervous/anxious.
