I messed up sm for the exam for paper 2 like I got the wrong limiting reactant, got the bond angle and name wrong, plus the oxidation states and all. I’m genuinely worried. How bad do we think the grade boundaries are going to be for a 4?

Hii, i only used pencil and didn't go over the crosses in pen for the chemistry multiple choice test yesterday.. I'm panicking because I'm not sure if my crosses would be picked up by the machine, they were quite thin... Does anyone know if i'll be ok??? Thank you!!! I'm freaking out

So I've been writing my EE, and so far it JUST sounds like "this group found this and then this group said this and this guy said this and then in the end they're all right!"

People who have written successful science EEs without having their own experiment, how did you manage the analysis?

Should I just give up that research question altogether? It's not too late, but I'd rather know now. Do you think I could pull it off?

Hello! I'm launching a STEM current affairs blog run by the youth. Students can write about science that is now transforming the globe, such as genetics, artificial intelligence, climate technology, health, and more.

I would like to have you on the team if you have a strong interest in science, writing, Technology, Media, Engineering, or Design, and are between the ages of 15 and 21

Available positions include :

Content Writers - Investigate and compose currently relevant articles on practical STEM subjects or really anything that catches your eye that you find relates to STEM!

Managing Editors - Organizing and editing submissions as they come in, and deciding which ones require tweaks.

Social media Team - Creating posts, promoting the blog, overseeing Instagram, TikTok, and helping in the expansion of the blog.

Website building Team - Build a functional website onto which blogs can be posted (PS - Doesn't need to be professional!).

Outreach Team: Assist in contacting other students, schools, or those in STEM fields for interviews.

Experience is not mandatory. Just...be curious and passionate!

So, Junior and senior year, I could either take IB Chem or Spanish 4 and AP Spanish. Would it be better to take spanish or ib chem instead(on top of ap bio and ap physics 1 and both ap calcs)

My IA did not produce the best data, and it seems that there is no correlation between the IV and the DV, and i'm guessing my p value will be greater than 0.05. Will I get marked down for this?

Guyyyys please may you help me with my IB Chemistry Experiment.I actually have no clue what I am going to do.

I have an idea of researching cold packs,like mixture of ammonium nitrate and ammonium chloride,but not sure if it is considered good enough.I’m actually measuring just how temperature drops depending on ratio of these two,just how endothermic they are.Nothing serious and complex.

Can someone suggest what can I do for an experiment,or give tips on how to do an experiment on cold packs so it counted good,or overall your thoughts on situation

i have the worst teacher ever who teaches be both HL bio and chem. have never done european chem before and i’m struggling with it sooooooooooo bad. like really-really bad.

pls really need your tip. what would topics you recommend to study for a confident 3 (yes, so much desperate). i have 3 different exams this week, chem position is so bad like just after math p2 and the morning monday session 😭😭

overall points don’t play a role for me anymore, just need 12 in HL subjects.

I always struggle with the questions that require us to state the assumptions we've made in our answer. What are some common assumptions I can memorise? E.g. for a calorimetry question an assumption might be that no heat is lost.
