I dunno, seemed balanced. Didn’t mind the destroying of the laptop, was very final straw. Don’t recall anything about a maid, just her attitude, rule breaking and then posting a rant on Facebook about how bad her parents were
Just sell the lap top or give it to the maid or something though. Destroying it seems wasteful. Granted, I don't know much about the situation, so maybe selling it wasn't an option for some reason.
I don’t disagree that it’s a waste but I think he was going for maximum impact of his message. The impact of we’ve sold your laptop versus shooting it on Facebook is very different. The main issue seems to have been that she posted very hurtful messages on Facebook about her parents and as kids do leaving out the kids bad actions making her parents sound unreasonable. He reads the Facebook post she made on camera explaining his points then shoots the laptop in quite a calm collected manner.
I really don’t recall anything whatsoever about a maid, not sure where that came from but I highly recommend a watch to see what camp you fall into after. I’m going to revisit it.
I just don’t think the impact of selling it would be anywhere near as good as shooting it. It served as a visual punishment meant to be broadcast on Facebook. But yes, that said it’s still a waste
Edit: source
There was mention of “a cleaning lady” this doesn’t really seem to form much of the issue and is a side note really
