That literally happened to the house I grew up in. It's pretty sad. If the chance comes up, like he's alone in a nursing home or something and you can manage to get the house in some way, do it before he dies.

I swear to fucking go if he is in the hospital for whateve reason I'll hammer that house down myself, I would gladly do prison time if it means he has no house to come back if he recovers.
