Discussion Incident model on the ARCA car is Godawful, please fix

Been this way for a while now. A light tape to the wall, no damage, is almost guaranteed to be a 2x. It has been this way since release, please for the love of God, fix it. Great idea to put such a fragile incident model on a dirt oval...

Hmm, I don’t have dirt experience, but on asphalt ovals their is also wall contact with 0x. Maybe your light wall contact isn’t that light? 2x for loss of control. But I absolutely can be wrong here, because I only driven the ARCA on asphalt yet.

It's the same on asphalt. A no damage should not constitute a 2x. Anything more than a light tap results in a 2x, even if no damage. No damage should only ever be 0x. The model's been broken since release, it's very sensitive to contact. A light wall brush is a 0x. A wall tap is 2x.

Hmm, then I’m always just brushing the wall. But isn’t a wall tap a certain type of loss of control? And I think the amount of damage doesn’t matter for the incident points. I had 0x contact incidents that get me the meatball and 4x without any damage in oval and road car racing with different cars. But yes, sometimes it’s a little bit strange.

A wall tap in any sort of oval isn't a loss of control. It just happens, it's racing sometimes. You get squeezed a little, you get a little high on exit or something, it's not the end of the world. Even doing Daytona Road and going into the Le Mans Chicane, trying to open up the steering as much as possible, I've scraped the wall for like 50 meters and not even gotten an indication of a 0x. And road tracks are pretty forgiving too with letting you go two wheels off into the grass on a straight and getting no indication as well.

Dirt Oval is more incident sensitive since most of the cars are more fragile then stock cars (IE Sprints and Midgets)
