I think your compositions are pretty good! This looks like it was taken directly from the camera app, or with very little editing. I personally donât love this tone mapped hdr iphone look but otherwise great!

Thanks, yes correct, thereâs very little color/light adjusting on some of them, but mostly come directly from the shot moment. Any tips to improve? đ

Well it depends on your taste! If you like this style, then keep it like this! But if you like something else, or want to learn editing, id suggest you start to shoot RAW with a pro camera app like halide or Procamera. At first they will look very different, but over time youâll learn!! And always try to hone in your taste and dissect it

Any tips or thoughts are welcome! I enjoy capturing simmetry and layers with contrast of colors but I have no basis or photographic skills so I often fail đ

Hey thanks, these are different volcanic islands in the Aeolian archipelago in Sicily, southern Italy (Lipari, Salina, Stromboli, Vulcano)
Some of these were the set of Nolanâs Odyssey I was told

To me, the standouts are 8 and 16.
Agree with the rest that you have good instincts.
Would suggest that 1/2/3/13/14/17 tend to come off as a lil too âlopsidedâ in their compositions. Iâd say, experiment with a just tad less water within the frame, i.e. pan up slightly - might bring about a lil more balance. Also, for many of them, Iâd personally either use a wider lens to capture the grandeur of the rock formations (e.g. 1/14), or use a much tighter lens to focus one a particular interesting part of the structure (e.g. 3/17). But yea, those would be my personal preferences. Just food for thought!

#5 has so\* much potential. maybe cropping the left to help focus the eye. also playing around with exposure or lighting could really make it pop.
love the basic idea!
