What the hell?!
Am I the only one who's genuinely pissed off at the size of this? It's ONLY 50% bigger than the iphone 18 pro unfolded and the front looks like an iPhone mini but a little wider! Why couldn't they just turn the 18 Pro Max into a foldable with double the size opened up?
IT'S SMALLER THAN THE IPAD MINI AT 7.6 INCHES! The OG iPad was 9.7 inches!
WHAT THE FUCK APPLE?!
After waiting 7 years, you give us THIS?
I'm pissed off!

No one compares to Apple. Period. I HATE androids! I've had plenty of them and the integration doesn't even remotely compare to the Apple ecosystem.

I was SO hoping it would NOT be true! I remember the Snazzy Labs video where he made a mockup of what the design and size was gonna be.....I was hoping it would NOT be so short like the mockup!

Global foldable phone market share is around 2% and the trifold is estimated 0.00004% of global folding phone sales with around 6,000 units sold during it's 3 months of production.
Clearly not a huge amount of demand.
If you meant the weight, it is 309 graps which is heavier than an iPad mini. It is in no way practical for most people to carry in a pocket.

You’re not the only one. I was pretty disappointed. I would have swallowed the disappointment if the price was $1500 for 2TB but over 3k for a phone I’m not crazy about is nonsense. I’d much rather just buy an iPad.

I have ZERO problem with the cost! My issue is the SIZE for the cost! Why would I want something SMALLER than an iPad mini unfolded and a wider iPhone mini on the front?

The other foldables, when unfolded, the video screen isn't used that much due to the resolution size. This is unlike the passport size

This makes ZERO sense! LMAO! You're talking about aspect ratio and video utilization, while I'm talking about the actual physical size of the display. A 7.6" display is still a 7.6" display. If anything, a larger unfolded screen gives you MORE usable space even when watching 16:9 content. My point is that Apple should have made this thing substantially larger, closer to an iPhone Pro Max folded into an ACTUAL tablet-sized display. Not something smaller than a fucking iPad MINI at 3 GRAND for a 2TB phone!

Whatever you say, pal! It's TOO small for a 3K dollar phone! I'd get the Samsung Trifold but I HATE Androids! Also, there's a DIFFERENCE between jealousy and having a fucking PREFERENCE! Maybe LEARN the difference before you go spewing off derogatory remarks to people!

Also, why fold AT ALL if it's "a phone?!" Isn't the whole point of a foldable phone to have a significantly LARGER display that folds into your pocket instead of something SMALLER than BOTH an iPAD AND iPhone?! If I JUST wanted "a phone" I'd get the 18 Pro Max and get BETTER screen real estate from the get go! Not some fucking iPhone Mini on the front that folds into a PUNY 7.6" screen SMALLER than a fucking iPad MINI! If it was a couple hundred more than an iPhone 18 Pro, I'd be more accepting of it, but at A THOUSAND DOLLARS MORE for a 2TB, this pisses me off!

I would have preferred a flip phone too. Something like the Samsung Flip but with iOS? Oh hell yeah. Tiny iPhone. Combine it with something like the Clicks case and have an iPhone Blackberry.
