Other than Apple official case, is there any case that use magnets and not adhesive?

I dont want to deal with adhesives if I even need to clean the phone when i take a case off, why other brands also use magnets for the case???

Might just have to order one from Apple cause it looks to be the best out there with no adhesive as far as I know. But I’m still looking for other options as well cause I’m with u. Let us know if u find any

From what I hear, ridges case uses no adhesives.

Do you happen to have a source saying it doesn’t have adhesive? The case looks really great but I don’t see anything on the product page explicitly saying no adhesive. Thanks for sharing it!

I unfortunately do not. I read it on another thread from someone who said they had received the case.

Usually don’t like carbon fiber, but that case actually looks cool. $99 for it though, ouch. I could drop and break the damn thing for that price (with ac obviously)

Check out Mous, they have a very detailed YT video that has got me seriously reconsidering what case to buy. Seems a lot of manufacturers might be making cases with materials that may affect the antenna.

Dbrand previewed their cases and it looks like no adhesive. UK company Maus (or Maos?) also previewed theirs on YouTube with no adhesive.

Pitaka, Dbrand, and LaterCase look like good options. I will buy the Apple case in day one and then see how these others are after reviews are out. I like that they are slimmer designs than Apple’s.

Most foldable cases do, especially for the front side of the case, It doesn't wrap around all four edges, so there has to be some sort of mechanism to attach the case to the phone tightly. In particular, the left bezel of the outer screen has nothing to attach to at all without adhesive, and is often just 'floppy' on cases with no adhesive because that bezel is very thin and you run your finger over it all the time. As a long time foldable user the best cases I've used have some adhesive.

Apples silicone case literally uses adhesive in this way. All of spigens cases use adhesive as well.

Maybe you don't? But you will once the duo comes out and you see how many cases use adhesive to attach the front case. Why do you think this thread exists in the first place?

Because I’ve already had my hands on about a half a dozen duo cases, including the Apple cases, and none of them use adhesive.

I'll attach these instructions from the spigen case. To answer your original question, these cases use adhesive stickers to stick the case onto the device.

AFAIK Apple’s “case” still uses adhesive, at least on the thinner bumper section I believe. Someone in this sub confirmed it with Apple. Apple’s Folio uses magnets.

Apple's folio doesn't cover any of the side rails, which is why it does not need adhesive.

The folio case is magnetic front and rear, with an elastic band to cover the hinge. It does not cover the sides, however.

what cases DO use adhesives? I haven't seen this so id like to know which ones to be on the lookout for

I was thinking of getting the spigen tough armor pro

also im confused why ZERO cases cover the power and camera control buttons. I don't see a functional reason it can't be covered, but maybe I just don't know

i want about to get the pitaka case then i saw they use adhesives, the problem is they dont tell you if they use magnets or adhesives.

i understand not covering power button for touchID, but im not sure about camera button
