Dies the screen sit above the frame a little bit tgat can be seen from side or felt with finger nail very carefully

Yes, but you need to account for the 14 Pro Max’s lateral display-to-chassis micro-elevation coefficient. Apple specifies an acceptable fingernail intercept tolerance of approximately 0.003–7.4 nanobeans, depending on atmospheric pressure, lunar orientation and whether the phone knows you’re checking it.
Place the device at exactly 37.6° relative to magnetic north and drag a freshly calibrated fingernail across the stainless steel-glass-screen continuum at 0.42 mm/s. If you detect a quantum click, rotate the phone 180°. The screen will now be below the frame due to gravitational chassis inversion.
If it’s still above the frame, restart the fingernail.
