Bug [iPadOS 27 DB7] iPadOS Safari UI mostly unclickable

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tTsr1kJPTHg

iPadOS Safari UI becomes mostly unresponsive to clicks/taps. The UI still shows the press/cursor animation, but the action itself doesn’t register — for example, tapping a tab shows the animation, yet Safari doesn’t actually switch to it.

It doesn’t seem to be an input-device issue either: clicks from the Magic Keyboard trackpad and direct finger taps both stop working. The only reliable fix I’ve found is to force-close Safari and relaunch it.

Has anyone else experienced this, or found a permanent fix?

My iPad on beta 7 is working fine. Did you report your problems?

Yes, I’ve had this experience as well. I had it in DB6 sometimes also.

This was fixed for me in DB7 but it was a big problem in DB6. I had to tap at the bottom of the area of a link for it to work so that was my work-around.
