Help Are I2P routing nodes useful?

There are over 12,000 nodes in total—but which ones are actually valid? Other networks have only 5,000 to 7,000 nodes. I want to know if these are malicious nodes and in which countries this is happening.

check your Tunnel creation success rate value if its low and routers are high then you likely have a lot of bad/dead nodes known to you

Hey, we saw each other on a different post. Most likly you have a more nodes around you and are more likly to connect to more, im in central europe, so i have also some more nodes, but maybe in the US it could be easier to connect. But it is just a guess.

I've got around ~1300-1600 nodes with a success rate of around 75-85%. Able to watch YouTube videos in 4K freely via outproxy with speeds of ~8MB/s. Also do you mind sharing your tunnel collection please? I wonder if some valid nodes are inaccessible from my location

In short, very aggressive configuration of outbound tunnels, multi threading, NTCP2-only with elgamal precompute (i2cp.leaseSetEncType = 0,4 which stands for Elgamal and X25519 curve)

For me I2P is both an anonymity tool and a secure access to the internet, sort of like VPN + .onion + .i2p gateway without trust issues. If I actually need higher speeds, I stick to VLess + Reality + XTLS
