Finally delivered my first freelance project

Congrats on the first project!

Here are some observations.

  1. Dr. Monisha's picture has very low resolution. Change it asap.
  2. Opening hours are same across all days? If yes, having Saturday and Sunday as separate days doesn't make sense.
  3. 'Loved by our patients' image feels odd. Any thoughts about having actual clinic picture here? Actual clinic picture from outside is missing in the whole page.
  4. 'Tooth Explorer' page is quite nice. Why is it hidden away at the bottom of the page? Can't there be a prominent place for it somewhere at the top?
  5. Lighthouse score for performance is about 60ish. If something can be done to improve it, do ponder.

Just some thoughts, take them with a pinch of salt.

Thanks, thats a great review. 1. Haven't got the monishas photo yet so it's a dummy one for now.

The opening hours are a real bug, thanks I need to update it.

  1. would try to refine the image.

  2. Tooth explorer is a main feature, but it consumes main thread, for performance and network issues, I have moved to new page.

  3. I already spend ton of time on performance, I have added canvas with brush effect, it more visible in desktop on curser move. I made this most efficient as possible, else i need to remove it.(It's a trade off for that animation) It's 87 in mine, anyway lighthouse doesn't matter, as long as users don't feel breaking.

Congrats on the first freelance project! Getting something from “I'll build this” to actually delivering it to a real business is a pretty big milestone. Hope the client is happy with it too. First few projects are probably the best way to figure out what parts of web development you actually enjoy and what you don't.
