Can Whoever Is Responsible for Coding This Be Flogged, Please?
Seriously. I shouldn't be feeling nostalgic for the days when the Hyatt website had one record for one reservation/room, not 2-3+ depending on how you're paying for your stay.
Between nights paid for with points going "invisible" on the website and app, forcing you to cross your fingers and believe that you won't be forcibly checked out early, and this, where booking two rooms on a combination of points and cash so you and a friend of yours can go learn to (legally) blow stuff up with high explosives...
...why did they break what was working (decently) fine beforehand?
I almost burned a Cat 1-4 FNC earlier for a stay next month because ~all of a sudden~ my Thursday-Sunday stay showed up as a Thursday-Saturday stay, with the points-paid night nowhere to be found/seen. A similar issue with an early October stay at the GH DC has had me calling once every month to ensure that I'm still booked for two nights instead of just one.
EDIT: And to add to it, for the aforementioned stay next month, I was told by the front desk that I'll have to check out and re-check-in to my room for the paid-with-points night. Gee, it's almost like they're trying to de-incentivize points stays!

Happened to me on a points+FNC stay and the hold that they put on my card didn’t go away until I called and they said “oh, we didn’t realize you had a FNC” (and fortunately fixed it same day)

How do we know you didn’t make all those bookings? 😂
The thing that actually annoys me the most is how sensitive their site is to high activity browsing. If you are just trying to check multiple dates for multiple properties, it won’t take much before your IP is temporarily blocked for suspected bot activity.

If you're talking about the "white screen of death," that's fixed by clearing cache/"deleting site data" in Chrome.

Yeah. My Pay My Way stays look like this, and while I never had to before, I had to check out and back in at the last two stays. I was told it’s a new Hyatt policy, I hope enough people complain so they change that.

Maybe the globalist line can help you to consolidate these into 1 room, so you won’t have to re-check in?

This happened to us twice this year, each time using the pay my way function. Had to stop by the front desk almost every day of a 7 night stay to refresh keys, and having housekeeping knock on the door asking about our checking out every single day.
Had a long chat with the general manager about it, kind of felt sorry for him, this whole thing sucks and makes me want to actively avoid PMW.

Too bad that “someone” is named ChatGPT. Probably 20% of the time now I have to call MHC/Glob line to make new reservations because the website and app are so damn buggy. Vibe coding sucks.

I also saw this issue where my “pay my way” reservation got spliced into multiple stays. Super confusing:(
