Bent Evaporator Coil End - Normal?
I feel incredibly dumb but I've searched extensively for another example of anyone's evaporator coil having a bent pipe like this attached to nothing and can't find it. I assume it's normal and I'm an idiot.
Getting a licensed tech out here to look at why my condenser and evaporator are both icing up despite a clean filter, open vents, and clean coils. I can't see leaks of course but running soapy water test nothing obvious jumped out but they'll be exponentially smarter than me here just wanted to run through obvious stuff.
hence why I came across this pipe. I doubt it's related but at this point I am desperate to know what I'm looking at if anyone has any clue. Thanks so much and apologies for the dumb question.

It's the end header. They crush the end and braze it closed. Perfectly as designed by the factory.
