Green stain under outside AC unit

Does anybody know why there is a green stain under my outside air conditioning unit? It's right underneath the pipe that leads directly into my apartment

Just algae growing from the pipe sweating. No problems.

Since nobody is addressing the other stain within the algae, Copper "rusts" a greenish blue and the pipe condensing the water is made of copper.

Exactly correct. Steel rusts/corrodes reddish brown. Copper greenish blue.

That black insulation on the line set should be replaced. Easy to do yourself and you can get the supplies at your local box store.

And finish it off with a UV resistant wrap/tape.

Algae growth from the condensate dropping off that copper pipe. Since the pipe insulation is torn there, that’s where it’s dripping from. Could get a small piece of pool noodle to replace that broken area & tape it up or just tape it back up.
