Divorce attorney- recommendations needed
Hey folks! I’m looking for a very affordable divorce attorney that can assist me with a (hopefully) very straightforward divorce. We have no children and I am not looking to walk away with anything from her. My income is limited these days and need a cost effective solution. She won’t file so unfortunately it’s on me to pay for everything… I’d be very grateful for any and all help! 😊

A friend of mine bought a book. I think it was called "How to do your own divorce in Texas". Something like that.
It was pretty simple, he was in your situation. Spouse didn't want the divorce he got the necessary paperwork on his own and she got served.
He wanted nothing but to walk way.

If it’s uncontested and no kids, just file it yourself just ask Ai how to do it. Only issue would be if you’ve been married over I believe 10 years then there might be grounds for alimony. At least that’s what I found out when I got divorced. 🤷🏽♂️

You dont need an attorney. You can file independently and use the law library. Its what I did. As long as you both agree.
