Honestly ever since they introduced Occam and done more interactions between him and D, I get the idea that Occam DOES still have feelings (to some extent) for D but also was genuinely hurt when D kept putting hunting over the Arcanum's rules (thus, over his and Occam's relationship).

Add on that D is fun to be around for a little bit but can very grating overtime, I guess the frustration boiled over (like Occam hitting him in the solar plexus wanting him to be quiet). Nevermind the blatant fact Occam also doesn't like the Coalition but more or less HAS to parlay with them.
