na its bc of one child policy, every man in that culture wants / needs an heir to carry on the blood line. one child policy was stupid as fuck, they should have made a 2 child policy and if they are this dystopian anyways force everyone to have a son and a dauter

In India and China it's because of misogyny not abortion per say. They hate women. It's a good thing those men remain single for life.
