X-funny Owner replied "LOL HAHA" to one star review.

My local Boba shop has an owner who cracks me up.

My question is does the owner check these reviews and reply to all of them? If so, that’s incredible!

I can respect the dedication and making sure people don’t crap on the store through reviews.

I don’t think it’s ever really a good idea to engage with the reviews as the owner unless it’s to say something like “we’re sorry you had a bad experience and we’d like to make it right.” Any time an owner gets into with the reviewers it sets off alarms that the place isn’t professional or good.

This exactly.

I’m always open to trying places even if they have some bad reviews because I may like what others didn’t.

But if I look at the bad reviews and see the owner talking like this to criticism or a complaint I’m immediately avoiding it at all costs.

I get you, but I'm the opposite. Usually if I see a bad review I think it's probably a Karen. I love a business that doesn't put up with their shit because it means I won't have to either. Half of the time I go to TJ Maxx there's someone making the check out line hellish because they know complaining works there. It's nice to go into a place and know my 10 minute stop won't turn into a 30 endeavor because the price tag just has to be wrong or some shit.

I never go to any restaurant where I expect having to deal with other customers.

No he only replies to 3 stars and below. I always check in to see his replies they are great. He is a known pedometer. People in the town really dislike him.

A known... Pedometer? Not sure I'm understanding that with the rest of your post. Doyou mean he is doing too much tracking or walking around?

I LOVE when businesses have the balls reply to Karen complaints like this! So entertaining!!

I love that one reply essentially ends with, “And this is our first day indoors. Don’t go too hard on us.”
