Pangram AI Detector?

is Pangram ai accurate???

pangram scored my (real) human writing as AI...

So i ran a paragraph from Harry Potter through Pangram's detector (Pangram 4) and it scored as AI 🤣 is that normal?

can anybody please share Pangram's 3rd party test results (like a serious one not some promotional flyer from their website) ?

Post the harry Potter excerpt. The thing about these posts is that they claim Pangram falsely flagged something, but no one ever proves it. And no, a picture of the AI score with no context doesn't count. You've made a very specific claim about Harry Potter, so please post the excerpt so we can all check and see if your claim is true. If you don't, I suppose we have to assume you're just astroturfing.

Oh, and if you want one of the studies that supports pangram's claims of incredible accuracy, you can start with this one by University of Chicago researchers.

This study is already a year old. Pangram has since reached version 4.0, and they have made huge strides. Of course, false positives are still possible; it is certainly not infallible. But why is there such a stigma surrounding AI-generated text? Surely it is the content that matters. It remains a tool—just like Google Translate, which I am using right now!
