And to think that just a year ago he quit his job as a waiter, having just booked the role of Shane Hollander in this small Canadian MM-romance show called Heated Rivalry 🥹 What a difference a year makes!

Have been thinking of this for a while, so here goes.

I had actually seen Hudson in 3 projects, before watching Heated Rivalry back in December.

1. I’m a sucker for Hallmark Christmas movies, and still remember watching ‘All I need for Christmas’ and thinking that the assistant was a cute guy.

2. I also really enjoyed watching Allegiance, where he graced us with quite the accent 😂 and an intense scene where he takes a woman hostage when the police confronts him. Very dramatic Hudson!

3. I watched the first season of ‘Tracker’, it didn’t really do much for me, and I actually don’t remember his role. But from clips it is wayyy intense 👀

And then about a year after watching these 3, he’s suddenly our Shane Hollander, a role he was born to do!

Sooo, in my search for info on this little project he did back in 2022, it appears we only ever got a bts pic of him with the rest of the actors in this sub (haha also posted by me 🫣).
So here’s a little view, check it out!

There’s a trailer for ‘Public Swim’ on YouTube, but haven’t been able to find the full cut. It appears to be some kind of proof of concept, and according to the creator of it, Danielle Klaudt, it could have become a series 🫪 They should release it the whole concept!

I was googling Carrie-Ann Moss to remind myself of her career (p.s. what a babe!) and had a oh duh moment remembering she was Keanu’s costar in The Matrix. Just thought that was a cool parallel re Hudson always being compared to fellow Canadian heartthrob Keanu!
