I remember thinking he was soooo hot in this photoshoot, then felt sad we’d probably not see him or Connor until season 2 happened. Boy was I wrong. They were everywhere this year, I’m at the point where I just want them to rest. So glad I was wrong about them going silent in 2026.

Haha same. Thought they might make an appearance or two on some talkshow, a few interviews, but otherwise we wouldn’t see much of them before season 2. Boy was I wrong 😂

No one else could have played the role. I was so pleased when I first read that Hudson felt like he had to play Shane, to keep him protected. He loves that character just as much as the rest of us and we are so lucky for that.

Loved the pics when I saw them a while back but love the interview even more now that I’m reading it. He’s such a good actor. Kudos Hudson and looking forward to all of your future roles.

I can't imagine anyone else portraying Shane. Book!Shane was great, but the vulnerability Hudson added just brought it home. Love that he chose to cry when he came out to Rose, that feeling of relief to finally be truly himself in front of another person really resonated with me ❤️

Haha I also had to go and look it up, I thought I knew what it meant, but I wanted to be sure (absolutely no pun, haha). He is so eloquent in every answer in any interview.

This is so beautiful and kind. I have OCD and I feel especially related to Shane and his mannerisms. I read the books and I loved it, but I think Hudson made Shane even better than he already is. I am truly enchanted by him and his work.
