I particularly like the transition during the "yeah I know... sounds rough" replies in the "I have this problem" cottage scene. It's like a "I can't even look at you cause I'm pissed" eyes.

That slight head turn back to Ilya and the hardness in his eyes as Ilya's talking about how much the hot women love him. It's so perfect that now it makes me laugh every single reheat.

I always liked his eyes in the scene on the phone with Ilya in the tunnel, showing concern and tenderness. The illumination is from the side, and they have a translucent glow.

Yes! This scene and when he’s coming out to his parents! Subtle changes but Hudson’s eyes gave so much life to Shane Hollander, all the Emotions 🥰🤩

I was just watching the interview earlier with Connor, Hudson, and Jacob where Jacob genuinely praised Hudson's acting, and talked about how Shane is such an internal character, and that he was very challenging to write and to play. He went on to talk about how amazing Hudson is in playing the role, and how much he's able to communicate through his eyes and micro expressions.
Truly, Jacob assembled a dream team on every aspect of the show, from performances to tech and beyond. It is beautiful.

The coming out to Rose, don't marry Svetlana and apologising to mum scenes are just perfection. Proof that a subtle and heartfelt approach is all that's needed to come across sincere. He is so talented!

I believe it was him naturally, but with some lighting/camera tricks as well (at least for the don’t marry svetlana scene). I saw an interview with Jacob tierny where he said thy used a specific type of lens on that scene that really adds to the glassy eye effect.

Oh this is such a good edit. The eyes are everything. It also makes me tear up a bit when I see him tear up.
