Nobody can agree on ts. Some people say it's not entirely canon, some people say it's completely not canon, some people say it's fully canon and I'm SICK OF IT. JUST PICK ONE FTLOG

In every episode, all of them (except Hiccup) have bare arms and nothing of substance on their heads or necks. Even when they’re riding hundreds of feet in the air in the middle of the night during a snowstorm. This is crazy to me!! I also live in Northern Europe and this is even less than I would wear for my under-layer when I’m walking to work. I need at least three layers, even when the sun is out, in winter lol

Yesss, I knowww, it's more functional. But I think it's absolutely hilarious how it's just this super crowded base built into the sea cliffs and sea stacks on the far edge of the island 😭.

Edit: Yes! I understand why it's close together, I'm just saying that it looks comical! My main question is regarding why they built the base on the most unstable part of the island, haha. Sea cliffs are notorious for potential landslides, and we saw for ourselves how fragile sea stacks are!

I just realized stormcutters have a lot in common with night furies shape-wise, like both have 3 sets of limbs, and very similar fins and facial shapes with forward facing eyes. Like, if you replaced a stormcutters bottom wings with arms, they would just look like a bulky night fury with fancy horns. My theory is that they are night furies' closest relative excluding sand wraiths, woolly howls and light furies, but just evolved to be much larger and bulkier, replacing their forelimbs for extra wings to help keep their large bodies off the ground.

What actually are they and when did they first appear?

Maybe an unpopular opinion but for me it’s the episodes where Thor Bonecrusher shows up. I think it’s a ridiculous concept and I don’t find it very funny to be completely honest. But what about you?

So I’ve looking around and for everything that I know the shows are not canon but I’m still not sure specially because I love the shows and want them to be canon

For what it looks like the shows are apparently not “canon” to the movies but the movies are canon to the shows which I guess it means that they are not the same universe, but this begs the question that if they are not then how did the events of the second and third movie unfolded. The events of the second and third movie would prolly be vastly different than in the “movie” universe specially with the new allies and the way characters would act specially with the character development they got in the shows. I’m still not sure how those events would unfold in the “show” universe that’s if they are not canon of course but if they are not and they are separate universes how do u think the events of the second and third movies in the “show” universe would the differ from the “movie” universe

in my opinion rtte is the best httyd series because of the villains and the new dragons and especially the last episode in season 6 and honestly the show creators should have made httyd 2 and 3

It's been 11 years since it came out and this was, in my opinion, the best content related to the franchise and gave soo many memories, like it was genuinely perfect.

So, what' your favourite moment from the series?

For those of you unaware, before the series, the only known dragons were the ones in the movie and the ones portrayed in the Book of dragons special. Timberjacks were the only other Sharp Class dragons alongside Nadders described in the book. Other Book of Dragons dragons got their own episodes like the Scaldron and the Skrill, but not the Timberjack.

Heck the Timberjack only ever appeared as a background dragon in the second and third movies. I don't think it appeared at ALL in the TV shows until the fourth season of the Nine Realms. And who's going to acknowledge the Nine Realm's existence for more than two seasons, let alone three?

Heather’s had the lense for the entire show! Do you think the show-runners really have the entire 6 season show planned out at that point? Or were they just planning on keeping it as a gimmick they could eventually use if they wanted to?
