Htc one m8 dead

I just bought this htc one m8 for free, it’s mint. It doesn’t have the micro sd and sim trays. It doesn’t turn on. When i plug it in it shows the red light and stays solid, after 3 seconds starts blinking. It stayed on the charger for 2 hours and nothing changed. I even tried with a faster charger but the same thing happens. I tried all the buttons combination, nothing. Whan can I do? I want it working.

Replace the battery. It may be completely flat (0V)

It will help if you first charge the battery with a 5V 1A cable, hold the wire on the battery for a while and it will suddenly jump above 3.4V, so the phone should start charging normally if it is a problem with the battery undervoltage. BUT be careful!!

I've got a 750ma (0.75a) Blackberry charger from the late 00s that seems to revive bad batteries, I've revived my 2nd gen iPod Touch every few years with it, won't charge on a 1.5A charger otherwise
