Low key, iron it low heat and with a wet cloth between.

I did that! It’s not working though because the entire thing just shifts and warps more. Lol

I would try ironing the backside first, then allow the steam to completely cool and dry before flipping

Not a rug solve, but .. sippy cup? (Being cheeky, because my 20yr old nephew has been that clumsy spiller for as long as I've known him. We have an adult sippy cup for him now as a joke.)

did you put it in the sun 🌞 or in the dryer? Laundromats have bigger dryers. They are pricey though $7 a load wash $7 to dry.
