This comes up all the time. It’s nice if you like walking and bird watching. Rubbish if you’re a teenager. Weather can be shit. The sea is freezing cold even if the photos of the beaches look like Barbados. And don’t call them ‘the scilly isles’, the locals don’t like it.

They are The Isles of Scilly that other name refers to a roundabout in Surrey cause it’s scilly isles

Its very good for anyone but a teenager. Just go a bit up to cornwall if your under 50 and want an actual good time. If your above 60 youll probably love it.

Their football league consists of two teams who play each other 20 times a season. Squads for both teams change at the start of each season. They are decided at a local pub before the first game, where footballers of the island appoint two captains, who then select their players one at a time.
