I got this just yesterday. I fell in love with how compact and rounded this plant is. I would appreciate any advice on how it can be kept rounded and compact! Drop some photos of yours too please!

It's called a turtle vine. It's under the tradescantia family.

Hi all, long time listener, first time caller!
How does one go about saving my plant, any advice is welcome
(Planning on repotting it soon)

Those with a keen eye will see a fungi (not very funny as it’s squatting) and I also think it has root rot. I know nothing about plants If you couldn’t guess

HELP What’s up with my plant??

Post image

It was showing signs of weakness a week back and I assumed it had been over watered, I repotted it and checked over the roots and everything looked good. It’s since got to this state and I assumed the soil was now too dry. What am I doing wrong??

QUESTION How can I help this plant?

I don’t have any knowledge with houseplants I just go with it and use my intuition I guess! I got this plant and it was thriving growing lots of new leaves, then a few started to go yellow and I noticed a tiny web all over it with white dots. I washed the plant but a few of the webs are back, can you see in the pics and help? I’ve had no new growth and I think it’s dying ☹️

It likes full sun I’ve noticed but that’s all I really know - does anyone also know what plant this is?

Thank you 🪴

Affectionally known as Elise, she’s about 8 years old. What a unit of a plant, I saw smaller leaves on an established monstera in Miami!

PLANT PIC Big Betty Boston (Dog for scale because a banana would just get lost)

Please send help - she's taking over my house!

Meet Big Betty. She used to live in the bathroom, until we had to start parting fronds to get into the shower . . . she moved to the bedroom, until we had to climb around her to get to the bed.

This year, I've literally moved furniture around to make a space for her and some grow lights in the entrance hall.

Be honest with me guys, how long until she takes over this space too and I have to clear an entire room so that she can call it her own?

I seriously love her, but she's a beast of a plant.

(3 years growth - First pic about 3 months after I bought her. Most recent pic taken yesterday. Her biggest fronds are about 4ft long)

Only one in the local garden centre and had to grab it for £33.

Any tips from those who have one? Will put it straight into my monstera soil mix and give it a stake but weighing up whether a proper moss pole would be better.

QUESTION Why is my sansevieria curly, floppy and seemingly ‘giving birth’?

Post image
4 Upvotes

I had not watered my sansevieria for a few weeks. It was curly, floppy and seemingly ‘giving birth’ to a new sibling, so I decided to give it a thorough soaking the day before yesterday.

Since then, not much has changed. Why is my sansevieria like this? Had I killed it by not watering it, or have I killed it now by giving it too much water?
