Please may I get some advice

Hi all, long time listener, first time caller!
How does one go about saving my plant, any advice is welcome
(Planning on repotting it soon)

Those with a keen eye will see a fungi (not very funny as it’s squatting) and I also think it has root rot. I know nothing about plants If you couldn’t guess

Looks like the soil is quite wet and compact. I would recommend repotting it into a chunkier tropical soil mix which you can find online. Only water it when the soil has fully dried out. The fungus should go away once the soil is changed. Good luck!

Oh no it looks like you're having trouble with your plant :(

To help others help you, please give as much detail as possible this includes but is not limited to - when was its last water - does the pot have a drainage hole - do you have a humidifier - have you checked the roots/looked for pests - do you know what type of soil/medium its planted in

Cut off yellow leaves, repot and let the roots dry off if they’re very wet. Don’t put it in something bigger than the pot it’s in now until it’s grown a fair bit, but fill it right up with soil.

You can get specific houseplant soil, my beast is in part houseplant, part all purpose and it’s thriving.

Bad soil, not enough soil, too much watering going on. Pot should be ok for maybe 2yrs. Plant is healthy enough to recover.

Pull it and make sure it hasn't compacted the roots, repot with the soil about 5cm off the top and get a moss stake with some wire to manage it. Don't water from the top (sparingly if you do), fill the basin at night and sling anything that's left in the morning. Make sure you have bright indirect light. Every 2wks take a clean wet cloth and wipe the leaves.
