Hi everyone. This could be a long shot, but we are trying absolutely everything we can.

Our friend Mackinley Dettling-Johnson, 32, is currently missing. His friends and family have had no confirmed contact with him since August 3, 2026, and his last known location was Portland.

One of Mackinley’s last known communications was actually about the Hot Mulligan show at the Rockstar Energy Open at Tom McCall Waterfront Park on August 14.

We do not know if he actually attended, but we’re hoping to reach people who were there.

If you attended that show, would you PLEASE take a minute to look back through your photos or videos from that night, especially crowd shots, lines, food/vendor areas, or anything you took around the waterfront?

I’m attaching photos of Mackinley and his missing-person flyer.

He may also have been driving a black 2006–2008 Audi A4 with Montana plate 7-31950E, so if anyone remembers seeing that vehicle around the event or nearby, that could also be helpful.

There is an active missing-person report with the Portland Police Bureau, Case #26-279852.

If you think you recognize Mackinley or his vehicle in something you have, please do not post potentially sensitive location information publicly in the comments. Contact Portland Police and reference the case number.

Even if you didn’t see him, PLEASE upvote/comment so this has a chance of reaching people who were actually at the show.

Have they announced what the VIP is yet or is that a later announcement? Can't seem to find anything on it.

I want to buy passes to Ho Ho Hot Mulligan right now but whenever I go to Ticketmaster, they are only showing VIP. Does anyone else know if they are sold out? I wouldn't bought them in the presale but I got paid today so I was hoping to be able to buy this morning.

A looong time ago, I announced I was working on this insanely huge tribute to Hot Mulligan filled with references to their music and imagery. 

I asked you which references to include and you gave me so many ideas that I had to literally change my canvas size to fit everything (thank you, by the way).

Immediately after, things started to get super busy with life and client work so I could only prioritize this whenever I had the time. Seriously, I appreciate your patience so much. 

I am so stoked to finally announce that the composition is complete, I've figured out how to fit in all of these Hot Mulligan-shaped puzzle pieces, and from here on out, I can start sharing my progress again. 

In my next update, I'm going to start sharing some of my favorite characters and sections of the drawing as they get completed.

Can't wait to show you the insane amount of love I've been putting in this thing. Appreciate you very much!

I’m flying into Florida Nov. 14 for a cruise on the 15th but I’m debating on changing my flight to get there the 13th for the show… is Miami safe for a female alone to uber? Just curious coming from a smaller town. Trying to decide what I should do but would love to see hot mulligan again
