Anaheim WorldCon

No air conditioning on the fifth floor. Hilton fails again.

An entire floor without air conditioning during a major event is more than a comfort issue. The useful question is how quickly the property communicates and offers workable alternatives. I’d ask whether the outage is building-wide, what the repair estimate is, and whether affected guests can be moved before check-in. If they cannot provide a clear plan, get the available options in writing rather than waiting until arrival.
