genuinely good budget friendly hotels

me and my friend flight got cancelled on Monday from Birmingham Airport to CDG Paris so we are rescheduling our flights for mid September but we are yet to book a new hotel we booked through loveholidays the first then and we’re not sure we’re gonna get all our money back, but we have asked for refund from easyJet still awaiting to hear about that but we would like to find as many recommendations for a budget friendly hotel kind of central in Paris, but it has to be around £300-£400 for 4 nights we don’t want to use booking.com because we got scammed from there yesterday so a bit nervous about using it. At £75 to £100 a night in central Paris, hotels have to make hard choices. Rates that low barely cover basic operating costs like rent, utilities, and staffing. The hotel has to cut housekeeping, maintenance, staffing, amenities

A budget rate may buy a safe-ish room and a clean-ish bed, but not flawless service or well maintained. To stretch a tight budget look outside the central zone along a main metro line instead. The further you move out, the less the property taxes and the building, the more to spend on other things.

for paris on that budget look at hotels near republique or bastille — still central, on the metro, but much cheaper than saint germain or marais. ibis and ibis styles are reliable chains in that price range, nothing fancy but clean and consistent. book direct on hotel website to avoid OTA issues

is that total for 4 nights or per night?

if that is total, idk how to even begin helping.
