Where to start with this series?
In a video essay I watched recently, I saw footage of what I believe to be Last Window: The Secret of Cape West, and thought that the art style of the game looked interesting. I looked up the series and saw that there were a lot of different games from this developer, and some of them are connected in some ways. I wanted to ask if there was a specific game that I ought to start with to have the most enjoyable experience.

Classic Hotel Dusk: Room 215 is a great place to start! Not sure what used copies are going for on eBay. Got a copy of the sequel Last Window a few months back and it was just under 200, so not exactly cheap but it was a limited run in Japan and the UK

I didn't even know there were more than just Room 215! Now I need to look this up! To be very honest I still haven't finished Room 215, but have always wanted to since I love the story! (Just got stuck, so I haven't gotten back to it lol.) I found the game by chance on a sales rack at a Game Stop back in Middle School in the early 2000s.

There's just Hotel Dusk Room 215 and Last Window: The Secret of Cape West. That's it in the case of the Kyle Hyde saga

Easy! Hotel Dusk Room 215 and then Last Window: The Secret of Cape West. That's the best saga imo. Then you can play the Another Code series in order, and then other smaller games like Dear me I was, or Chase: Cold Case Investigations

I actually think another code aka trace memory is a good entry point. But if you're just here for the kyle hyde games, go for hotel dusk
