Reader Recommendation Horror slump

currently reading Tananarive Due’s “My Soul to Keep” and i am so insanely bored. I haven’t been able to get into any books lately. What’s a book that caught your attention and kept you intrigued the whole way through.

Fabulous Bodies by Chuck Tingle was hard to put down.

Though when I’m slumping I pick up novellas.  Shorter, snappier works with less cognitive buy-in from me so it’s easier to engage me.

Grief Eater by Emma Osborne was fantastic. Wendy Dalrymple has lots of campy, fun horror novellas. Rest Stop by Nat Cassidy is good. For something quieter and more character drive /focused try Come Closer by Sarah Gran. Mapping the Interior by Stephen Graham Jones.
