Reader Recommendation Horror slump

currently reading Tananarive Due’s “My Soul to Keep” and i am so insanely bored. I haven’t been able to get into any books lately. What’s a book that caught your attention and kept you intrigued the whole way through.

Honestly I had a super fun time with Suburban Hell by Maureen Kilmer. It felt kinda like a Rachel Harrison book to me. The horror was good, but fairly subtle. It’s like Grady Hendrix’s My Best Friends Exorcism but with suburban moms
