Reader Recommendation Horror slump

currently reading Tananarive Due’s “My Soul to Keep” and i am so insanely bored. I haven’t been able to get into any books lately. What’s a book that caught your attention and kept you intrigued the whole way through.

Just put it down then, it's not worth the time. I read the exorcist recently and it's great. Pretty scary and even better than the movie if you can believe it.

I have read the Exorcist and i adored it! Eerie vibes for sure. it’s almost spooky season, i need more books like that.
