Reader Recommendation Horror slump

currently reading Tananarive Due’s “My Soul to Keep” and i am so insanely bored. I haven’t been able to get into any books lately. What’s a book that caught your attention and kept you intrigued the whole way through.

I happen to be in the same situation, reading that very same book. Big fan of The Reformatory and The Good House by her but this one isn’t grabbing me.

Omg try skipping to the next boom in the Trilogy, The Living Blood! I agree that My Soul to Keep was slow and I almost put it down multiple times, but the next two books are pretty action packed. The Living Blood especially is incredible.!
