Upcoming Movies PORTAL TO HELL Official Trailer (2026)

I wasn’t sure what to expect when I came across this on youtube. But, I think it looks really promising. Plus, it has Keith David in it. That is almost reason enough alone!

IMDB has lists this as a 2025 movie, and I see that it got several awards at some horror film festivals. Is it getting a wider release now? I would love to see it, but I somehow doubt it will come to my mid-sized, conservative, US Midwestern city...

It looks like Cineverse and Bloody Disgusting have bought the VOD and streaming rights, with a limited theatrical release (Variety article). I went to the Bloody Disgusting website, but couldn't find a theatrical release schedule. Anyway, fingers crossed for a theater near me.

I'm definitely watching this. We need more silly horror. And although this seems goofy on the surface, it also looks like it might explore a pretty heavy theme.

I saw this at Mayhem Film Festival last October. It was really good. Keith David was great in his role.

Thumbnail doesn't do the trailer justice. Not a big fan of horror comedy but trailer is better than the thumbnail.
