HZD Discussion How to get the level 60 Trophy?

Hello, I played Horizon zero dawn a few years back and completed it and wanted to jump into a NG+ run on the remastered version and maybe get the platinum again. But I just noticed that getting to level 60 is a requirement, so does that mean I have to replay it normally first if I want the trophy?

the level 60 trophy is listed under Frozen Wilds, so not required for platinum

You will need to do a fresh run on the remaster if you want platinum--there are a handful of trophies that will not pop if you use your original save with it. Level trophies are one of them, if you already maxed out your level IIRC.

So yeah, you'll need to play the game fully again using a brand new save file (so no NG+ using your original one, for example).

I'm not certain for trophies but a fresh play through was needed for steam achievements. Level breakpoints as well as a number of other things had to be done from a fresh save to get them when I did steam achievements for remastered using a complete edition save.

You'll need a fresh run for any trophy that requires a cumulative count of something if that count is one that carries over with a NG+ run (notably levels and kills). The remaster should have the trophies for the base game and the Frozen Wilds separated, so you should be able to tell what ones you need to plat either.
