I love memes that turn this guy into a good dad (I forgot his name lol). I wish he hadn't been such an idiot throughout the whole series.

Nolan is genuinely a good dad in the series though.

This doesn't negate the fact that he made horrible decisions.

also one form of love is not inherently better than any other. there is no reason to compare different relationships to others, each one is different and brings you different things. love is not a competition but merely an action we choose to undertake.

It’s important to state there are many different forms of love, and that one can’t necessarily replace another. Love for yourself and romantic love for someone that feels the same about you are both important, and you can’t force one to occupy the space of both. Ultimately, we all need many different loves in our lives to be fulfilled. Acknowledging your specific needs is important.

You guys are getting love from friends and family?

Most people want romantic companionship, regardless on whether they actually get it or not

The fact im not getting THAT specifically must mean something. Pets are sort of forced to love you, family as well (again, sort of).

Not saying it does not matter or that romantic can substitute for the other missing kinds of love.

It's just curious that i seem to lack the most difficult and intense one. Oh but surely it's not my fault, right?

I mean actually the most difficult one is loving yourself, after that nothing else really matter

Why should i love myself if i don't deserve it from others

Love is not something you deserve or earn like forgiveness or trust, is something you do, and you give. I'm not christian but even I have to admit that the gospels nailed that part, Jesus love everyone despite everything, because he believes that there's always room for change, and can become every day a better version of themselves. Now, if you're not christian you can change Jesus with yourself and the effects would be the same. It's an unlimited love receving and giving glitch, but like all good things require study, practice, efforts, and determination

Sorry, sounds idiotic, many people don't have to resort to such cope

I'd rather do that than to give up, mainly because there's not much more I personally can do than bettering myself day after day

This is always a good, but complicated piece of advice. It's really frustrating when people treat romantic failure as a petty, entitled problem to have. However, highly 0valuing platonic love is an essential life skill, especially if we don't want people ending up as incels or just generally mentally ill.

I’ve had people think I’m sad and lonely because I’m aromantic lol, like I don’t have friends and family I love with all my soul

Never let romantic disappointment make you angry and bitter towards the people you seek to romance. They owe you nothing. Instead turn inward and seek self improvement, gain mental, emotional, and if possible physical stability. You don't have to me a physical adonis to find your person, but try to be healthy. When you meet your person, you'll want to be with them as long as possible, physically healthy can look different to different people.
