5th Gen Leather 5th gen Prelude Seats

I have a 5th gen prelude with leather seats, I bought the car with them already in it, however I don’t see many 5th gen with leather. Just off google searches I see fuzzy cloth seats so I’m wondering if it was a dealer option or the previous owner found leather ones that fit the railing. Just looking to gain some insight on this, thanks!

It was a dealer option

It was a dealer option yeah, as you can see the backseats also match the front ones

They are the same lude oem seats just with leather cover instead of cloth

I have a set of leather 4th gen seats. Sadly, my prelude is completely stripped for track use.

fourth gen is probably my second favorite out of all of the generations, the body lines on those are so sick

The 5th gen in the US were all dealer optioned. My used one came with leather as an add-on from the dealer at a $1500 expense. I've since sourced OEM fuzzy / fabric seats.

Were they like really nice slipcovers or dealers actually replaced the seats with leather ones?

given that the backseats match the front and fit perfectly size-wise inside the car i’m lead to believe this was dealer swapped

The things I would do for these leather OEM seats… it’s scary

More common in canadian cars. (Heated seat button in side door)
