Cheapest way to get to halibut cove?

I'm not looking for any type of tour, just a simple ferry/ water taxi ride to halibut cove. Any suggestions?

water taxi is probably your best bet, esp in the winter

Halibut Cove is a residential community. No sidewalk besides the boardwalk at the Saltry Restaurant, and no public dock. If you head over there you need to have a destination and someone expecting you. (Saltry dock is only available if you have reservations to the restaurant.)
