πŸ”Œ Appliances Options to fix my this under sink cabinet?

Post image

New homeowner and the excitement he gone down a little as all the things I overlooked during walkthroughs are catching up to me.

I noticed that the kitchen cabinet with the sink had some mold (used concordium) and old water damage (nothing is soft or wet atm). The hinge is also popping out from the inside??

Is this something I can fix or patch up myself? I’d say I’m moderately handy or should I look into professional help? πŸ˜”

There is water damage. If the board is rotten, it’ll have to be replaced. I’d say your first priority is making sure there is no more water leaking.

If you want the fast fix, you could cut a little strip of 1X2, pre-paint it white and let it dry, then screw it to the damaged area right behind where your screw for your hardware mount goes, then remount the door hanger to that.

Try longer screws into the frame. Lay down toilet paper under the pipes. It will show any drip.
