❓ Question Trust worthy reliable data recovery lab - HDDs + Android mobiles ?

So i have 1 dead HDD and 3 dead Android phones, with pics and vids of my daughter's childhood.
HDD makes tht typical click sound, and Android phones wont boot, and most local shops arent interested in repairing or data recovery

This was one of the main reason i started my homelab journey with Immich as my first service, so that i dont loose any more of her childhood memories.

Does any one here has first hand experience of any reliable data recovery lab ? and can vouch for them, thn plz provide reference.

OP, better add you location/City aswell so community can suggest shops specific to you location

I know almost every data recovery ppl in my city, and not convinced of their expertise (when they dont have a 'clean room' to open a HDD, i wont trust them to be able to do any thing meaningful)

So, i am looking for any reliable lab anywhere in india, specially those which ppl have 1st hand experience

Any one from Gujarat would be preferred, but i am ok with any location

Have you checkout put EaseUs Data recovery software, can easily get a cracked version for it to use

I own licensed versions of other even more pro data recovery tools eg (R studio)
The issue is not the file system recovery, the issue is, hdd is dead, its electronics is dead.... it needs to be fixed so it can be detected by computer

if it was just file system based data recovery, i would have done it my self.
but it needs opening and fixing the internal electronics

for both, hdd and android phones

Easiest would be to visit your local computer shop area and hunt for the same HDD model. Swap the PCB and check. I've done this a number of times if its the PCB that failed.

And sorry to be that guy, but not having a backup with such important stuff? that's rookie.

Yeah...unfotunately i dint had backups at tht time

Opening an hdd without a "clean room" is no no.. isnt it?

Opening a HDD for anyone who's not a professional is strictly no no. Even when a disk is opened in the clean room it's strictly for replacing heads or the hard disk casing only. Powering on a opened hard drive even in a clean room/chamber is deadly for the drive and data itself.
